One of the games that Gloria's kids has is Wii Fit, which I watched them mess around with today. I seems like something I could possibly get into. Because let's face it. I could stand to do a little more than just go for a walk everyday. Heck, I haven't even been able to really do that lately. However, I'm really self-conscious. I think I would only play it while the kids are at school. But seeing as it's Winter Break right now... *shrug*

Wii
It's Happy Bunny slippers
colored pencils
socks
underwear
candle holder
And a total of $45

A lot of wearables, though I actually did need the underwear. Mom and I are gonna go on craigslist and try to find some games at good prices. Apparently Gloria already has for her kids.

Also, I think a score of 174 in my first game of bowling is pretty good.

First, let me start off by saying that one of the presents from mom is a Wii and although I could open it today, I opted not to. Mom has also given a Wii to the other two families. Yeah...it seems that bowling is quickly becoming popular. It's so easy a three-year-old (Jacob) can do it.

Anyway, I got a present from Gloria which was a couple bottles of body lotion (which I did ask for) and a necklace. Jamie gave me a bath set. Mom let me unwrap one of the presents from her. Instead of the Wii, I went for the funny-shaped one that had me stumped. Another bath set. XP

I think I have enough body lotion to last until summer. Now the question is which one to use first.

I was feeling nostalgic today (or perhaps this cold was driving me crazy), so I headed over to Retro Junk and looked at commercials of toys and games from that magical time known as the 90s...

Ask Zandar Sure, this is basically a glorified Magic 8 Ball, but my sisters and I sure played with it a lot.
Don't Wake Daddy A fairly basic game, but it almost always scared me when Daddy wakes up. The darn thing is loud!
The Grape Escape What kid doesn't like the idea of mutilating Play-Doh grapes? Be honest now.
Henry I never actually owned this. It was in my 4th grade classroom. It's sort of a Concentration game with sounds. Twas fun though.
Gak Do I even have to say anything about this one? Nickelodeon made cool stuff.
Nickelodeon Super Color Writer Actually, no. Not all Nickelodeon stuff was gold. This thing just didn't work right, not to mention the "eraser" can burn you!

I was totally right about yesterday. Jamie somehow got the idea that it was okay to print something using an ink cartridge that wasn't hers. She also thought it okay to NOT tell me that something went wrong when she did, causing me to waste time and get frustrated.

When I confronted her about this a moment ago, Richard had the nerve to tell me that my ink cartridge (people seriously don't listen) broke the printer and banned me from his house. Big deal. I don't like going over there anymore anyway. The kids are totally out of control and he's a dick.

I don't care about Christmas now. I just want the damn thing over with.

...too bad it involved having to rely on people.

See, most of the presents that I planned on giving requires using a printer. Problem is there doesn't seem to be any working ones around here.

Mom's: Needs to be reinstalled due to recently crashing her computer.
Gloria's: Not working, but has an ink cartridge.
Jamie's: Working, but needs an ink cartridge.

Luckily, I got permission from both Gloria and Jamie to use Gloria's ink cartridge in Jamie's printer. At around noon today I came to Jamie's and put in the ink cartridge in the printer. But I had to wait until 4 to do the printing. Can't print out the kids presents when the kids are right there you know and this was the only time the kids will be gone, thus this is the only chance to do this before Christmas.

Well, somebody screwed me over. Seems that between the time I put in the ink cartridge and the time I came to do the printing, someone tried to print something, but never finished. The job was stuck in the print cue and there was no way to take it off. No amount to telling the thing to cancel would do any good.

I'm upset not only because I have no presents to give now, but because someone thought it was okay to print using an ink cartridge that isn't theirs to begin with. I specifically told them that it was Gloria's, so there is no excuse for this.

Unfortunately, I'm talking about the illness and not the absence of warmth.

It's just wonderful that I get a cold on the same day that we get our first snow of the season. My throat hurts, my nose is stuff up, and I'm having hot and cold flashes. Yes. Hot and cold flashes. It was impossible to sleep with that crap going on. What's really weird is how noticeable it was in my legs. Sometimes only my toes were cold. Other times just my calves were cold. And some other times my thighs were cold. All this complete with goosebumps in the affected areas. WTF?

Snow isn't completely unheard of here in North Carolina. It just doesn't happen much, there isn't a lot of it when it does happen, and everything closes down when there even a little bit of it. Yes, I just experienced my first snowfall here.

Seeing as I hail from a state where snow is abundant during the winter, I am highly amused by this.

So I sat down and watched Cars today. I was gonna say that I'm going to ignore the fact that there is a character named Luigi in the thing, but no. I found him to be kinda funny. The movie overall was rather enjoyable.

On a completely unrelated note, I got a Christmas card from grandma in the mail today with a check for $25. I have a couple of ideas about what to spend it on, but I'd rather wait until after Christmas. It may depend on what I get, and I already know what the big present from mom is...

I went over to Jamie's because I wasn't really doing anything in particular. I ended up borrowing a couple of movies from her. There's Disney's Tarzan on VHS and Cars on DVD. I've seen Tarzan before (and liked it), but not Cars. I need to set aside some time to watch them though I tend to have a little trouble sitting through movie. I like to keep my video watching short.

Dad and I teamed up and cleaned the whole house. Though I usually prefer to work solo, the guy makes a great partner. In any case, the house it looking great for the holiday season.

...It's not gonna last long. People around here tend to be slobs. And baby animals + bright dangly things = mess. Yeah. The kittens have a nasty habit of messing with the tree, especially Ginger. Affectionate little bugger, but also quite the hell-raiser.

Also, I made a playlist on WinAMP consisting of snow/ice themed music. Though there's also a handful of songs that are just generally pretty, but don't really fit. Untamed Heart, I'm looking at you...
